Visual Faith Resources

Women of LWML,
As a second installment on Visual Faith and Scriptural Coloring, we would like to focus on your Lenten prayer practice. Lent is a time to humbly search our hearts. Visual Prayer is a hands-on prayer practice that calls for a short “intermission” from daily activity to pick up a pen or pencil, pause and slow down. Create a moment of time to “be still” and open your mind to the Spirit. Choose a path to the cross.
From https://www.visualfaithmin.org/visual-prayer: “In this way, visual prayer is both a process - writing, doodling, and coloring as you pray, as well as a product - a picture of time well spent with your Savior.“
For me, it is helpful to start each day in thankfulness, listing what I am grateful for and also to keep a list of those who need prayers.
Visit the Visual Faith website for more ideas https://www.visualfaithmin.org. The images below are just a glimpse of a fuller image available and can be found on the Visual Faith website.
Or the LWML Scripture coloring page.
